Focusing primarily on product defects, catastrophic injuries, fire litigation, and complex commercial cases, Will Kemp is considered one of the Nation’s best litigators in products liability and multi-district litigation. Will emerged on the mass litigation scene as Lead Trial Counsel in the MGM Fire Litigation and has since tried numerous complex cases including the San Juan Dupont Plaza Multi-District Fire Litigation. He successfully tried two Propofol multi-dosing cases against drug company Teva, winning verdicts totaling more than $667 million for patients who contracted Hepatitis C infections during outpatient colonoscopy procedures, and earning him the Nevada Justice Association’s 2012 Trial Lawyer of the Year award. He successfully tried a negligence case against health insurer United Healthcare for a $524 million verdict in 2013.
Known for his innovative strategies in complex cases, Will has been appointed to the Plaintiffs’ Steering or Lead Counsel Committees for numerous multi-district tort litigations including Castaño Tobacco, Breast Implants, Orthopedic Bone Screw, Fen-Phen Diet Drug, and Baycol. Randall Jones’s practice embraces many aspects of civil litigation. Named Trial Lawyer of the Year in 1998 by the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association, Randall has tried more than forty jury trials to verdict in both state and federal court, including In re: Kitec Fitting Litigation, the largest class action case ever tried in Nevada, resulting in verdicts and settlements of nearly $300 million for 32,000 Nevada homeowners. He is admitted in, and has appeared before and argued cases in, the Nevada Supreme Court, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. Randall’s practice is focused on complex commercial litigation as well as mass tort, Multi‑District Litigation and class action claims – In re: MGM Fire Litigation, Breast Implants, Fen‑Phen Diet Drug, and Humana v. Forsyth, which resulted in a significant United States Supreme Court decision – in addition to a wide range of administrative law matters such as land use and zoning claims, insurance coverage/bad faith claims, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death actions.
Randall’s skills as a civil trial lawyer have been recognized on a local and national level. Randall was named in Las Vegas Magazine’s “Top Lawyers, Las Vegas’ best attorneys as chosen by their peers,” and in Nevada Woman’s “Best Lawyers.” He is an inductee of the American College of Trial Lawyers, an honor reserved for the top one percent of Trial Lawyers in the United States, and has been recognized for his advocacy skills by another prestigious trial organization, the American Board of Trial Attorneys. He is also past President of the Las Vegas Chapter of the International Network of Boutique Law Firms, an elite group of boutique law firms in the United States and abroad. He is listed in Super Lawyers and in the Business Litigation Section of The Best Lawyers in America, and was named Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers. Chambers USA considers him “among the top litigators in the state.” The American Trial Lawyers Association has also recognized Randall as one of the top 100 trial lawyers in Nevada, and Nevada Business Magazine counts him among the state’s Legal Elite. In 2021, Randall was awarded with the State Bar of Nevada’s Presidential Award, which is presented to a bar member practicing 20 years or more and whose conduct, honesty, and integrity represents the highest standards of the legal profession. In 2023, Randall was awarded with the Nevada Justice Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award, which is intended to recognize a lawyer who has devoted his or her career to helping injured victims, consumers, and those persons who lack the money, education, and ability to protect their own rights. Randall has been appointed as a Civil Arbitrator & Mediator for the American Arbitration Association, and has served on its Construction Advisory Committee and was a long‑standing Panel Member of the Nevada Medical/Legal Screening Panel. He has been a contributing author of the American Bar Association’s Survey of State Class Action Law for more than a decade.
Randall is also committed to serving the legal profession and the public. He served as a Trustee of his Alma Mater, California Western School of Law for over 20 years and was a founding Board member of the Thomas and Mack Legal Clinic at the Boyd School of Law, University of Nevada Las Vegas. He was named a Colleague of the Nevada Law Foundation, created by the Nevada Bar to provide legal services to the poor. Randall was also a Board Member of the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, a nonprofit, public interest law firm serving low-income residents of Clark County, Nevada, from 1995 to 2023, and now serves as an Emeritus Board Member.

Spencer H. Gunnerson is a partner at Kemp Jones, LLP and conducts a litigation practice with an emphasis on commercial, real estate and title litigation. Spencer has successfully represented numerous large corporations, developers, title companies, banks, and individuals, both as plaintiffs and defendants. He has also actively participated in the litigation of wrongful death, product liability and appellate matters. Spencer has extensive experience in representing his clients in court and at mediation; and has successfully argued before the Nevada Supreme Court. As a result of his efforts to work at the highest levels of professional excellence, Spencer is the recipient of Martindale-Hubbell’s highest AV rating. His distinction as an elite litigator has been recognized through the honors he’s received as a Best Lawyer in Commercial Litigation for 2021-2023, a Super Lawyer in Commercial Litigation in 2023, and a Nevada Business Magazine Top Rank Attorney in 2023. Previously, he was named as a Super Lawyers Mountain States Rising Star and one of Nevada Business Magazine’s Best Up and Coming Attorneys.
As a graduate from the S.J. Quinney School of Law at the University of Utah, Spencer served as the Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Law & Family Studies in 2002-2003. In addition to practicing law, Spencer enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, and serving in his church and in the community. Michael J. Gayan is a partner at Kemp Jones, LLP and practices in many areas of civil litigation, including complex commercial disputes and the prosecution of class actions and mass actions, wrongful death actions, and commercial and residential construction defect litigation. He has helped try cases to verdict and recovered more than $300 million for his clients, including In re: Kitec Fitting Litigation, the largest class action case ever tried in Nevada. Michael also represents companies and individuals in prosecuting and defending commercial litigation, including contract disputes, insurance coverage disputes, shareholder derivative suits and class actions, partnership disputes, and antitrust actions. He recently secured a complete defense verdict and award of nearly $600,000 in fees and costs for a client accused of committing legal malpractice. Michael has litigated cases before state and federal trial courts in Nevada and throughout the country from California to Massachusetts as well as the Nevada Supreme Court, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Based on his successes, Michael has been recognized by Best Lawyers for his commercial litigation work and as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers for his class action and mass tort work. Since 2015, he has authored the Nevada section of the American Bar Association’s Survey of State Class Action Law. Michael also serves on the Nevada Justice Association’s Construction Defect committee and drafts amicus curiae briefs on the NJA’s behalf. Michael enjoys giving back to the community by litigating pro bono matters for those in need and has received several awards for the number of hours he has donated. His pro bono matters have ranged from representing foster children in family court to successfully litigating a construction defect matter on behalf of the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada to prosecuting and settling a class action on behalf of more than 10,000 Nevada payday loan customers. Born and raised in Wisconsin, Michael earned his undergraduate degree in business/finance from Brigham Young University in 2004 and graduated cum laude from the Boyd School of Law, University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2008. He is admitted in Nevada state and federal courts and the Supreme Court of the United States. He is also a member of Public Justice’s Class Action Preservation Project Committee.

Eric M. Pepperman is a partner at Kemp Jones, LLP and represents clients in a wide range of matters involving civil litigation at both the trial and appellate court levels. His practice focuses on litigating actions involving product defects, wrongful death, catastrophic injuries, mass torts, eminent domain, and complex commercial disputes. He has helped his clients recover hundreds of millions of dollars through settlements and judgments, including a nearly $10 million trial verdict against NV Energy on behalf of landowners in an eminent domain case.
Eric devotes the majority of his efforts toward representing individuals who have suffered catastrophic personal injuries or who have experienced the wrongful death of a loved one. He has successfully represented his clients in cases involving a wide variety of defective products, including bad pharmaceuticals, medical devices, tires, consumer propane cylinders, fuel pumps, vehicle components, and recreational sporting equipment.
Eric is active in the Nevada legal community. He is a member of the Nevada Justice Association and served on the executive council for the Young Lawyers Section of the Nevada State Bar from 2012-2017. He has also represented individuals on a pro bono basis before the Nevada Supreme Court, as well as in district court actions and arbitrations. In 2016, Eric was a recipient of the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada’s Badge of Excellence, an award given to attorneys who dedicate more than 100 hours toward pro bono services in a given year.

Mona Kaveh is a partner at Kemp Jones, LLP and practices primarily in the areas of complex civil and commercial litigation. She has successfully litigated several cases on behalf of her clients, including participating in trying jury trials to verdict in both state and federal court. Mona has obtained significant monetary awards for her clients, as well as successfully defended them against claims that sought damages in the multi-millions. Based upon her exceptional advocacy and legal accomplishments, she has been named one of America’s Top 100 Attorneys, a lifetime achievement award given to less than one-half percent of attorneys in the United States. She has also been named a Mountain States Rising Star by Super Lawyers for the years 2020-2023, and one of The Best Lawyers in America for commercial litigation.
Mona also dedicates a portion of her practice to pro bono legal services. She is actively involved with the Children’s Attorneys Project through the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, where she represents abused and neglected children who are placed in foster care. Due to her commitment to the program, Mona has received several awards for her pro bono hours and has been nominated by the organization as a “pro bono master.” In 2017, she received the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada’s Myrna Williams Children’s Pro Bono Award and, in 2018, she received the organization’s highest award of Pro Bono Attorney of the Year. In 2019, Mona was one of three individuals in the United States to receive the prestigious American Bar Association’s Pro Bono Publico Award and was also presented with a proclamation from the Clark County Board of Commissioners that same year. In 2020, the William S. Boyd School of Law presented Mona with its highest public interest award, the Silver Staircase Award.
Mona was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Media Studies with a Criminal Justice minor from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas on a full-tuition scholarship. Mona graduated early with an Honors diploma and a magna cum laude designation. She obtained her Juris Doctorate degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law. Throughout law school, Mona worked at a criminal defense and civil litigation law firm, while simultaneously volunteering her time with the Kids Court School, Street Law Program, the Law School’s Mentorship Program, and the Partners in Pro Bono Program. She also served as an extern with the Children’s Attorneys Project at the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, as well as with the Honorable James M. Bixler at the Eighth Judicial District Court.
Mona is admitted to practice law before the state and federal courts of Nevada, the state courts of California, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Clark County Bar Association, the Nevada Justice Association, the Young Lawyers Section of the State Bar of Nevada, and was also invited to join the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada’s Pro Bono Advisory Council in 2019. Mona is also a 2018 graduate of Leadership Las Vegas, a premier community leadership program offered by the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce for professionals who want to make a positive impact in the community. Nathanael R. Rulis is a partner at Kemp Jones, LLP and represents clients in a broad array of complex commercial litigation matters. In state and federal courts alike, Nate has led clients all the way through verdict at trial in varying types of business, cannabis, real estate, and commercial contract litigation matters. He has also represented various clients on appeals before the Nevada Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. In addition to his litigation practice, Nate also represents clients in the cannabis industry in administrative proceedings before the Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board.
Nate has received several awards for the number of pro bono hours he has donated for representing children placed in the Nevada foster care system through the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada’s Children’s Attorneys Project.
Nate earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History, with a minor in Religion, from Pepperdine University, graduating cum laude. He then moved to Las Vegas and obtained his Juris Doctorate from the William S. Boyd School of Law. After graduating from law school, Nate served as a law clerk for the Honorable Kenneth C. Cory in the Eighth Judicial District Court. During his time as an attorney, Nate successfully completed the Georgetown University eDiscovery Training Academy.

Madison, a Las Vegas native, earned her undergraduate degree in Communications and English from the University of San Diego and graduated magna cum laude from the University of San Diego School of Law. While in law school, Madison served as the Comment Editor of the University of San Diego’s Law Review and as President of Phi Delta Phi.

Don Springmeyer is Of Counsel at Kemp Jones, LLP and leads teams of skilled trial attorneys focused on high damage complex and class action litigation. Springmeyer is a 4th generation Nevadan with a heritage in our state’s legal profession stretching back to his grandfather, George Springmeyer, who served as the United States Attorney for Nevada from 1922‐26.
Don was recognized as the first Trial Lawyer of the Year in 1997 by the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association for his pioneering work in Nevada in price‐fixing class actions. Don received a National Pro Bono Service award from Primerus Law Firms for his successful pro bono work representing breast cancer victims fighting for insurance coverage for their stem-cell treatments.
His accolades and awards continue to the present day, with perennial naming to multiple “best of” groups including trial attorneys, top 10% attorneys, and class action attorneys. Most recently, Don was recognized in the 30th edition of The Best Lawyers in America® for his expertise in Mass Tort Litigation / Class Actions – Plaintiffs. He has been AV® Pre‐eminent Peer Review Rated through Martindale‐Hubble for well over 30 years.
He is held in high regard by Nevada’s judiciary. Recently, the Nevada Supreme Court appointed Springmeyer to the Nevada Rules of Appellate Procedure Committee, tasked to review and make recommendations to the Court on whether to update and how to revise the Nevada Rules of Appellate Procedure. This appointment followed his earlier appointment to, and work on, the Nevada Rules of Civil Procedure Committee, including a chairmanship of the Subcommittee on Class Actions and Rule 23.

Christopher W. Mixson is Of Counsel with Kemp Jones, LLP. Chris, licensed in Nevada and Oregon (inactive), has developed a specialty practice focusing on environmental and natural resource law, with a particular emphasis on Indian water law. Chris also has an active appellate practice in the Nevada Supreme Court, Nevada Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Chris has also worked on renewable and solar energy law and policy, including regulatory cases before the Public Utilities Commission of Nevada and was previously a registered lobbyist with the Nevada Legislature. Chris’s practice involves significant interaction with State and Federal regulatory agencies on behalf of his long-term (multi-decade) clients.
Prior to attending law school, Chris worked in the Natural Resources Department at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD, and was biological field technician for the U.S. Park Service at the Indiana Dunes National Park on the shores of Lake Michigan.
